Hey Everyone. I am starting up this Blog to toss out info and whatnot about some of the Forensics stuff I have been doing. I am fairly fresh in the Digital Forensic world, but want to have my niche that will make me useful in the world.
I thought one day “why not do Linux based desktop forensics!” and I have been exploring the different aspects of different Linux distros to get a better understanding of how to analyze OS’s other than Windows.
I am still a Windows user, and can still do a forensic case on a Windows machine. and will toss out tidbits. But I’ll focus on Linux forensic analysis
Over the next few weeks/months/years/decades, I’ll post through items I find of value to forensic peers. And will also take input of what the readers would like to see checked out.
Just a fair Warning, I am a big Transformers Fan. many of the computer names or scenerios I go through with are using the names of Transformer characters. Don’t get lost in the Lingo!
